Farming in Beeson for five generations with a history of looking after
holiday makers, we like to think we know how to make people feel at home in
South Devon.
Simon has been farming all his life, a keen conservationist he recently has
worked closely with the RSPB in the conservation and regeneration of the
"vastly depleeted numbers" of Curl Bunting to our hedgerows.
Beryl is also of farming blood and learnt the art of 'The English Farmhouse Breakfast'
from her mother at an early age! Beryl's babysitting skills have recently been honed on
becoming proud grandparents of young Jonah who has just turned one.
Incidentally, if you are wondering about the house name....
Built in 1894 the house was a wedding gift to 'Mary', the beautiful young bride
of Thomas Honeywill the Great, Great, Great Grandfather of the youngest of the
Honeywill family, still living in Beeson today. Some people say 'there is still a hint of
romance in the air!'
Beryl and Simon welcome you to the relaxed country atmosphere of 'Marybank'.
